The board
What the spit actually yields.
Prices are what we charge at the counter today. Tax extra. The board changes if a spit runs out. We will tell you on the callback, not with a spinner.
| Item | Note | CAD | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken wrap | Pita, toum, pickle, tomato, parsley. The weekday default. | 11.50 | |
| Beef wrap | Thinner carve, more chew. Ask if you want extra onion. | 13.25 | |
| Mixed wrap | Chicken and beef in one pita. Messy. Worth it if you are hungry, not if you are in a shirt you like. | 13.75 | |
| Falafel wrap | Five balls, tahini, turnip. Vegetarian. Not a diet plate. | 10.75 | |
| Chicken plate | Rice, salad, extra toum. Fork food. The wrap is faster. | 16.50 | |
| Falafel plate | Same rice, hummus instead of meat. Fine. Not a substitute for the spit if you came for the spit. | 14.25 | |
| Garlic potatoes | Fried cubes, toum. They go limp in a car. Eat in the parking lot. | 5.25 | |
| Hummus tub | Enough for two pita. We still charge for pita. | 4.75 | |
| Fattoush | Sumac, fried pita chips. The chips go soft. Order it if you are eating here, not later. | 7.50 | |
| Baklava | Two diamonds. Sweet. Not made in the unit — we buy from a baker on Barton. | 3.75 | |
| Ayran | Salted yogurt drink. Cold. Better than a can of cola with garlic. | 2.50 |
Halal chicken and beef. If a spit is down we say so on the phone. We do not invent a substitute and hope you do not notice.
